Soon I'm heading off to New York City, of all places, for around 2 weeks.
To experience and absorb. I can't explain how freaking amped I am.
Although, havn't decided where I'm staying or exactly what I'm doing there yet.

So anyone want to suggest some rad things to do, see, people to speak to. Maybe places to stay? Or if any of you guys would want to meet up and hang out, show me some wild stuff? - I'll teach you some ridiculous South African slang in exchange   
I'm also really keen to get involved in some illustration/drawing workshops, exhibitions or shows!

So, I have a meeting soon to determine where I'm going in this ocean of chaos.

I won a fat award/grant/interpretive award (The Emma Smith award), to do something creative and professionally enhancing in my field (illustration/design). But earlier on this year my original plan fell through. So now It's about figuring out or finding something to do with a rather substantial grant.

Originally I was going to be heading to NYC, which would be fucking incredible! But the project I was to be working on got canceled or suspended.. yeah, thanks shitty economy! So going to try and find some way I can make it work for me... Any NY artists/illustrators in need of a piggy-backing intern type guy?? -wink wink- or some mad cool indie illustration house want a sketch monkey? I'm your man!

But for reals, if I don't make a plan for NYC, it'll be off to London with me - Got family and friends there so it'd be easy.

Otherwise, most sheeite is good in the hood.

Yus, I have been neglecting my Deviantart account for waaay too long. I've just been shit busy, so posting on my Tumblr got a lot easier.
But alas I must return!
Comments and feedback is something that Tumblr seriously lacks.

PS. Hopefully moving to South Korea in August sometime, gonna go teach English in Incheon if all goes to plan. So that's all very exciting!
I'll make comics too! Can't wait to be hit by wave after wave of inspiration.
